Pt is being seen for an encounter of Rituximab for management of his lymphoma. Would I code as V58.11, V58.12 or someother V code?
 
Thanks. Being that it is a monoclonal antibody, I wasn't sure which to choose from A) antineoplastic chemotherapy or B) antineoplastic immunotherapy. Still not sure.
 
Rituxan is a BRM drug, at the cancer center we were told to not code either the V58.11 nor the V58.12 since neither of those are a perfect fit, but to code only the lymphoma dx.
