Can you bill 99211 under an RN that has an NPI? We would be billing injections only.

99211 is an E/M service that is performed 'incident to' a physician's plan of care, so it needs to be billed under the NPI of the physician who ordered and supervised the service. An RN cannot independently perform E/M services. But if you're billing injections only, you wouldn't be billing this code - 99211 is a service that is separate and distinct from an injection.
