I know a nurse isn't able to document all of the pertinant info in the ACOG record for an antepartum visit, without the Dr. having some interaction with the patient, but where would I find these guidelines in writing? I have a provider whom was called out for a delivery and never saw the patient who came in for her antepartum visit. The RN saw the the patient and filled out the ACOG record for that days visit and now I have a 0502F the Dr. wants billed out / credit for under his provider name. Any help on finding s these guidelines in writing would be so much appreciated. I thank you in advance for any help.
