I've been coding the DaVinci assisted surgeries with just the code without any little extra tidbits. Today, one of the docs puts "Bill as 58573-R" for the robotic case. I don't know if there are any updates from the previous posts that asked about it in 2009 and 2011 but I thought I was just to bill the surgery as if she did it without the robotic assistance. I did notice that people said to bill it with S2900 so I did that for reporting purposes but does anyone know if there was an update for that? Thanks in advance for your help.
