My docs use the robotics all the time but it is not reimbursed by any insurance company so far as I know. You would just code based on the weight of the uterus (per path report) as these are done laparoscopically.

You are suppose to code according to the weight of the uterus, but to show the insurance company that the procedure was done "robotically" you can add HCPCS code S2900 which states: Surgical techniques requiring use of robotic surgical system( list separately in addition to code for primary procedure). Some insurance do not reimburse for this.
