Is anyone billing HCPCS S2900 Robotic surgery? (Example: MAKO for total joint replacement)
 
You can bill it along with your 27447 (for example, for a full knee replacement), but nobody pays for it. They'll deny it and you have to write it off; most payers consider this to be experimental and not medically necessary.
