Does anyone have experience coding RPM (Remote monitoring of physiologic parameters)? I know that CPT 99453 is for the initial set-up and patient education on using the equipment. This code cannot be billed until there has been 16 days of data collected. Does the 16 days of data have to be collected within the first 30 days of initiation of care? Appreciate any help!
 
The only guidance I have come across is "Measures of 16 days of data in 30-day period".

99453 Set up and patient education (one time)
99454 Practice cost associated with providing RPM (equip/transmission) (monthly)
99457 Management and interactive communication first 20 minutes clinical staff/MD/QHP (monthly)
99458 Management and interactive communication each additional 20 minutes clinical staff/MD/QHP (as applicable)
