We are a Rural Health Clinic and have been told a registered nurse can do an
Annual Wellness Visit in our office. Does anyone know if this is correct?
 
We are also Rural Health and have been since before I started in 1996. You can absoltuely bill for the AWV as well as the Welcome to Medicare visit and bill these services to Rural Health Medicare. You still must document all required components and you will bill with the appropriate G code.
