Patient presents to ED with s/p 3 day paracentesis wound bleeding. At the time of arrival the bleeding had stopped. The physician finds no bleeding in examination. The physician documents wound check as dx. Should this be coded as wound check or postoperative dx and what code would be correct in this case?
