I have a Medicare pt that will be having a Saline Suppression Test to check for Aldosteronism. The only cpt code that I can fine are 80408 and HCPCS code J7040. On the cpt code 80408 it states that this panel must include the following: Aldosterone (82088x2) and Renin (84244x2), does this mean that these codes are already included the 80408 or we need to include them with it? Also, is there a different code to use since this is a Medicare patient? I have looked every where and can not fine anything else. Please help and thank you in advance for any help I can get.
