HELP! My doctor would like to bill for a non-displaced fibular fracture that occurred at the growth plate. The xray reports shows no findings of fracture after radiologist review. However, I know from past experience that fractures near the growth plate do not always show up on xray. Can I bill for fracture care when the xray report does not show fracture?

no if the x ray does not show a fx. if the radiologist does not diagnose a fx, then it cannot be billed as a fx, perhaps he should order a CT or MRI.
