Wiki Same Day office visit and ASC

Hello...

I have a question. If my provider saw a patient in the office then took the patient to the ASC on the same day does the office visit need the -25 modifier since the location is different?

If code had 90 day global and the office visit was the decision for surgery then modifier 57 goes on the E&M. If the same physician did the surgery and its not a 90 day global the day of is typically included. If a different physician did the surgery, I don't believe any modifiers are needed.
