Hi there! Can you code for a same-day telemed and lab visit? The patient had a telemed visit (audio and video) and then came in later to perform a urine drug screen in-office and they also sent urine to an external facility. Is it possible to bill a 99214-95, 80305, and 99000? Thanks in advance!

Hi there, if you're reporting to a payer that uses the NCCI edits, the two services aren't bundled so you shouldn't have a problem. However, you should check their policy and your documentation for 99000. Typically the payment for handling a specimen is included in the visit.
