Hello,

Unable to cannulate the CBD, provider cannulates the PD and places a stent and then cannulates the CBD. He then removes the stent. No stones or sludge was removed. Its like the stent was used to dilate to access to cannulate the CBD. What CPT would you use ??

wow. That's a first for me, I'd just use 43260 in this context. I agree, stent used just to dilate.
