Hi:

Can any one tell be the CPT to be coded for excision of hypertrophied scar on abdomen due to prior surgery.

Depends

It depends on what is actually done.

Could be benign lesion removal (with layered closure if applicable).

Could be complex repair.

Could be adjacent tissue rearrangement.
