Wiki scarring in the shoulder

I have always struggled w/ this dx....
Shoulder cases stating "scarring"

office tends to use 728.9

any thoughts????

What type of scar is it? Is it a skin scar or muscle scar of the shoulder?

Op note reads:

"extensive scarring at the level of the AC jt, and within the AC jt and this heavy scar was debrided and removed so that we could get to the end bony surfaced of the the clavicle"
