Good Morning All! I have a provider who wants to schedule and AWE for his Medicare patients at the same time as a scheduled office visit. These patients are having follow up visits for various issues such as monitoring DM and HTN. I can't find any clear cut guidelines that state you can or cannot schedule a follow up visit and a AWE at the same time. I understand that you can't bill a sick visit and wellness at the same time. These follow up visits are not necessarily "sick" visits. They are more for monitoring purposes. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
