I am trying to find out how to code a screening mammography on a patient with breast implants. We are required by MQSA to take extra views, but are unable to find a way to indicate that we are charging more due to the extra views. This is on a Medicare patient and they are unable to help with this problem. Does anyone have any idea how to code this. We are a OB/GYN office so we are doing the Technical portion. Any help would be apprciated:confused:
