Wiki Screening vs Diagnostic fecal occult blood test

Hi,

We have a physician that ordered a screening Fecal Occult Blood Test on a patient that presented with symptoms. Based on the documentation in her office visit, it should be diagnostic. Is it appropriate to change it to a diagnostic study since the patient presented with symptoms or do I need to have the physician correct the order?
