Hello!!!
Our doctor is planning to remove the lead anchors for a patients previously implanted SCS due to pain at the anchor site. The provider will not be revising lead position, nor revising the ipg/ipg pocket. The leads will not be explanted or replaced.
Would the use of 63663 for revision be appropriate here, for the removal of the anchors? Also considering a hardware removal unlisted code. The pt had this implanted over 6 months ago.
Any feedback would be appreciated!

Have you been able to find an answer to this? Is 63663 appropriate to use for this case?
