When the moderate sedation procedure does not meet the minimum time requirement of 10 minutes to charge (i.e. 99152), are we able to capture the charge for the medication administration of the sedation meds (i.e. Ketamine)? I know we don't charge the administration of the sedation meds when we charge the actual sedation procedure charge but my coworkers and I are going around and around and can't find anything about charging the med admin when the sedation time requirement hasn't been met. Appreciate any guidance.
