Has anything changed in the new 2024 coding rules that state that a Parent can be seen without the child present for a medical visit? It's my understanding they have to be present for the visit if you want to charge for the visit. Am I correct? The old way use to state child and or parent. It now states child and parent or caregiver, Please help me clarify so I can explain to my staff. I appreciate your help!
