Looking for a certified coder with 3+ years of experience.
Qualifications:
Evaluation and Management coding and auditing and be able to provide educational feedback to the providers.
Advance knowledge of medical codes involving selections of most accurate and description code using the ICD-9-CM.
Abstracts all necessary information and assigns codes (ICD-9, CPT & HCPCS), which most accurately describe each documented diagnosis, and/or surgical procedure according to established guidelines.
Advance knowledge of medical terminology, abbreviations, techniques and surgical procedures; anatomy and physiology; major disease processes; to support existing diagnoses, or substantiate listing additional diagnoses in the medical record.
Education and Experience: Completion of High School or equivalent, CPC certification, Microsoft Office: Excel, Word and Power Point
Applicant must have great attention to detail, and good oral/written communication skills.
