I recently earned my Certified Professional Coder - Apprentice (CPC-A) certification, and I am eager to begin my career in medical coding. I hold an Associate Degree, which has provided me with a solid educational foundation in healthcare and medical coding. While I may not have extensive professional experience in the field yet, I am in the process of completing Practicode. Additionally, I have experience as a Patient Care Technician, where I gained valuable insight into patient care, medical procedures, and healthcare documentation. This experience has enhanced my understanding of medical records and coding accuracy. I am detail-oriented, committed to accuracy, and excited to apply my knowledge in a real-world setting. If you know of any companies hiring or have any advice on how to break into the industry as a CPC-A, I would greatly appreciate your guidance. I have attached my resume below!
