I have an op report that I am having trouble coding. PLEASE HELP!!

Retrograde arterial cath was performed via the right femoral artery using the percutaneous Seldinger technique to place a 6 French sheath. A multipurpose catheter was advanced into to the left subclavian artery and selectively injected to assess the patency of the anastomosis and the anastamotic connection of the basilar artery to the basilar vein.

I would need to see the whole OP note to be certain, but this is what I am assuming from what little you have posted. It can be a starting point for you anyway.

You should ask your provider to get you the Peripheral & Cardiology Coder 2010 by MedLearn. It is a really nice and very well put together book if you do alot of vascular coding. :)
