I am looking to gain somne knowledge from everyone out there as we are being told different things from different people. Our physician is looking to work with a local Dermatologist. The dermatologist would perform MOHS sx in his office and then have our physician be tehre same day to do the closure instead of having them come to a separate location. We are trying to find out if we can just add this dermatologist location as a 2nd location on our files and under our tax id then bill our charges for the closure under our current TAX Id with the location as the 2nd location. If this can be done do we then forfeit money due to the multiple surgery rules. Or will that not matter as two separate tax ids. Issue I have is I have been told you cannot have two different tax ids for one location. Thanks for any help.
