Surgeon performs transvaginal hysterectomy and posterior colporrhaphy. That evening, he's called back due to heavy vaginal bleeding and finds separation of the vaginal mucosa, returns pt to the OR, and oversews the separation involving the posterior colporrhaphy. Is there a way to code and bill for return to the OR and if so, what would you suggest? THANKS.
