Would appreciate any help with the correct billing process for a septal button performed in office by the physician. I know 30220 but what about the button (L8047-HCPS 2025-states-placed by non-phys) also can 31231 be billed in addition to the 30220. Dr stated in the procedure note that (direct visualization with endoscopy was clinically appropriate and indicated) and he did detail a full nasal endoscopy procedure in the surgery note. I did not see any NCCI edits against the 31231.
