Does everyone still use the SG modifier on all claims except for Medicare? I had someone tell me you don't have to use SG anymore at all. Thanks

The only insurance I still use the SG modifier with is UMWA. They are the only ones that request it.

Unless your insurance requests the use of SG, use of SG was d/c in 2008.
