Is it appropriate to use the shave bx code (11300-11313) for a "shave bx" performed with an Ellman loop. I have a provider who has an article that states OK to use either shave bx code or 17110 (seb keratosis). Any thoughts? I would choose 17110 because of the instrument used for bx.
