Medicare RBRVS: The Physician’s Guide was not one of the textbooks for my CPC online program, but I am reading this:
This guide may be beneficial to the professional coder because it answers questions about the RBRVS system and allows quick access to information regarding payment rules for surgical packages and CPT® code RVUs.
So, would this probably be a worthy investment as a student? Since the program didn't tell me to buy it, I'm considering buying and looking through a slightly out-of-date, cheaper edition.

I'm sure that would be more useful once you're actually doing coding as a job/intern than it would for your exam. There wouldn't be anything in the Physician's Guide that isn't in your CPC books that you would need for the exams.
