I have a hearing empaired patient that was seen at our urgent care facility and by law we have to provide them with a sign language interpreter. These services are very expensive so I wanted to know if this service can be billed to insurance (auto insurance) and if so what code?

No bill

I do not believe you can bill for these services (nor for providing interpreters for the patient who does not speak English).
