Does anybody out there know if an ASC can be reimbursed for the cost of silicone oil used in retinal detatchment surgery? We bill for it using L8610 and mail in the invoice with the claim. But i am confused on whether it is a supply item because it does get removed or an implant because it replaces the vitreous. Thanks in advance
