It has been a long time since I had this come up and I am having one of those moments...One of my doc's removed a splinter from under the fingernail by numbing and then reaching in with a hemostat and pulling it out. Since no incision was made am I correct to use an E&M code rather than removal of foreign body code? Thanks in advance.
