Wiki Skilled Nursing Billing for Code U0003

I am trying to determine if a Skilled Nursing Facility should bill U0003 in addition to their regular per diem rate? Can a SNF bill for testing on the Clinical Lab Fee Schedule?

its generally considered an ancillary and included in the daily rate. If it's managed care, you would need to check out the contract to see if they include it in the per diem.
