I need some clarification as we do not bill these a lot. If we removed did a biopsy on both side of the foot left and right, am i to bill 11100 +11101 or 11100 rt, 11100 lt?

I was thinking the 11101 would be if we did the same side just 2 different locations.

Clarification on this code would be great!

You would bill 11100 (for the first lesion) + 11101 (for each additional lesion) It doesn't matter that it was done on the same foot. It's still 2 seperate biopsies.

11101 is an add on code & can not be used without 11100.
