Does anyone know can you bill the skin graft application 15271 and an Unna boot 29580 on the same site? CCI says you can add a 59, but I am not sure that is correct. Does anyone have documentation that supports the billing of both or documentation that supports that you cannot bill both?

Hi. I work in a Wound care center in a Facility. You cannot bill both 15271 and 29580 on the same site according to the CCI edits. If it is on different anatomical sites then yes you can bill both.
 
If there is 1104x code or 1527x code billed then the unna boot cannot be billed also if on the same limb. The unna boot is considered "bandaging" at that point and bundled into the wound treatment codes.
