Patient has a anterior/posterior tear. Can 29807 be used along with 29806 for instability?
What I have from AAOS Global Guidelines it states: Can report 29806 with 29807 only if the SLAP lesion repair is Type 2 or 4. Also documentation must support the type of SLAP lesion being repaired if there is a capsular defect.
Type 2 says: Separation of the superior portion of the glenoid labrum and tendon of the biceps brachii muscle from the glenoid rim, code with 29807 because an actual repair is done.
Type 4 says: Bucket-handle tears of the superior portion of the labrum extending into the biceps tendon, code with 29807 because an actual repair is done.

Hope that helps. :)
