Wiki Sleep study 95811 mod 26

Hi,

I am trying to find written information from CMS or another reputable source for billing the physicians interpretation of 95811. The physician is currently using the date he interprets the test as the date of procedure (95811-26). So the date will not match the facility charge, who bills date the test was performed. I know there are some tests that this is ok for I just don't know if this is one of them.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

There is no rule however I think its best practice to use the actual test date.
