I work for a private neurology practice. We have a sleep center and we also do video, ambulatory and regular EEGs. We have been billing VEEG and Sleep Studies at the same time for several years now without a problem. All of a sudden, we are getting a denial and an NCCI audit. For example, we bill 95810 for the sleep study and then, 95720 and 95716 for the EEG. There are separate reports and separate diagnoses. I don't understand the sudden denials, and I can't seem to find any answers. Any thoughts, ideas, feelings would be appreciated! Thank you!
