I have "many " questions on billing for sleep studies done at home. If someone could give me some basci information or tell mw where to look on line to find.

I would appreciate it very much!!!!!

I've been told that we can only bill 95999-26 for the interpretation and report of the study. Your best bet is to call the company where your equipment comes from and inquire with them. That's what we had to due.

Hope this is somewhat helpful.

I work for an internal medicine physician and we just recently started doing home sleep studies. We have a sleep specialist read our studies. we also use 95806 for reimbursement. we received payment once from medicare using this code. Then today I received a denial from medicare for this same code stating not medically necessary. any thoughts on this?
