Our group is going to start billing for the pro-fee for the interpretation and report for sleep studies. The physician who is going to be performing this service does not have clinic hours as he only operates at the hospital and we are good on the place of service for the patients who present to the sleep center (it is an outpatient department of the hospital), but I am having difficulty determining if the POS 22 is also acceptable for the interpretation and report for the patients who take home the portable machine that they return for the physician to then read the results and prepare a report? Thank you in advance for any assistance.
