I know that when billing Medicare for the PC of a sleep study I need to use the POS where the patient had the TC done ie., 21 or 22 (inpatient or outpatient hospital). If my physician is billing for the PC and the payor is not Medicare can I use the pos 11 or do I still need to use the POS where the TC was performed? Please advise. :)
