We started doing sleep studies (95806). The patient takes a little device home with them to put on when they go to bed. They are suppose to sleep for at least 5 hours. Now my question is how would you handle it if the patient comes back and says he had to take it off after 2 hours because he was on call. There was nothing for us to get from the 2 hours but he did waste the supplies that we gave him since he had it on and they are not reusable supplies? You don't bill the insurance right? Since there was no data? What about the supplies?
