Can someone help me out? I have a procedure described as a Stab Snap Tenotomy. I can only come up with 28010 which I believe is not correct because my report states this was done over the shaft of the third metatarsal, not the toe or 28234 which I also don't think is correct because this in an open procedure and my report describes this as a stab incision.
The following is what I have to go by in the report;
CORRECTION PERTAINING TO THE LEFT FOOT - Before the dressings were applied, a stab incision was made over the shaft of third metatarsal where a stab snap tenotomy was performed to extensor digitorum longus tendon.
What am I missing?
