In our practice we bill for the professional component only of sonograms if we see a pregnant patient with twins and use cpt 76805 and 76810 we will use mod 26 for the professional component now the question is do we bill these same two cpt codes again with mod 59 for the second gestation?

CPT 76805 is for the first gestation and 76810 is for "each additional gestation." So, you would bill both codes once for twins.
