Hi, I was wondering if anyone is running into denials for CPT 72148 for medical necessity? I didn't see a LCD for Palmetto for this so I was wondering if anyone had any tips. Thanks.:)
 
Call Palmetto and ask where that LCD can be found. My office is in VA and we encountered the same issue with a different CPT and were told at that time to use the retired policy. However, that was almost a year ago.
