Looking for any guidelines on how to code SPANK (sensory posterior articular nerve of knee)? Provider(anesthesiologist)is performing for post-op pain management following total knee surgery and is used instead of or in conjunction with a femoral or adductor canal blocks. Thank you!
 
Hi, I haven't seen an official guideline but I had this question a few months ago and the suggestions were a genicular block with modifier 52 or the unlisted code.
