Is anyone else experiencing SPARCS errors while using the external cause code W458XXA and puncture wound w/ FB code S61.441A???? We are trying to understand the edit, which states it is an invalid code to use with the DX code reported. I have reached out to another hospital and they apparently remove the W458XXA code and replace it with the unspecified external cause code X58XXXA. That seems inaccurate for reporting. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
