For the codes 96110 and 96111 - the CPT description appears to include "motor" assessment along with "language and/or cognition..." I need to know if these are more appropriate to use for our pediatric developmentally delayed physical therapy patients, when we use standardized tests that require scoring?

I am with a pediatric multispecialty clinic. We use 96110 for our developmental specialist. Our specialist uses the Vanderbilt rating scales. Remember the RVU for 96110/96111 does not include physician work. When a limited screening and an E&M service is provided both services should be reported together per the AAP.
